Everything on this page comes out of real course development work — not mockups. We've pulled a handful of sample modules together so you can see the instructional design approach for yourself: how a lesson is structured, how knowledge checks are built, and how the finished product actually feels to a learner.

Upset Recovery & Prevention Training (UPRT)

Full UPRT course development in line with FAA AC 120-111, from simulator to classroom. Built type-specific simulator instructor action guides and training profiles alongside a complete blended course — CBT modules and face-to-face ground school covering aerodynamic fundamentals, recognition, and recovery technique, backed by classroom slide decks and instructor action guides.

In-House Training Buildout (Part 135 & 91)

Full curriculum analysis and development supporting a dual Part 135/91 operator's move to bring all training in-house. Built the complete CBT and face-to-face curriculum from the ground up, then trained and supported the operator's own instructor staff on course implementation and facilitation technique — handing off a program their team could run and grow on their own.

Cross-Functional CBT Development

Developed computer-based training spanning customer service, HR, safety, and pilot roles — including CBT built to support HR policy rollout and compliance across the workforce. A cross-section of the range beyond flight operations training: whoever the audience, the same instructional design rigor applies.

Part 135 Training Program Audits

Reviewed and audited an existing Part 135 operator's training program end-to-end, flagging deficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Delivered a set of solutions and implemented the ones the client selected — audit and execution, not just a findings report.

Digital End-of-Course Evaluation Tool

Developed and implemented a digital end-of-course evaluation tool for Part 135 check pilots to evaluate both new-hire and current-line pilots in a fully controllable, standardized manner — deployable in real time whether the course was delivered in the classroom or remotely. Replaced a paper-based process with something check pilots could actually run live, wherever the training was happening, without sacrificing consistency across evaluators.

Part 142 Training Center Audits

Conducted audits of Part 142 training centers under 14 CFR 135.324 to verify their delivery matched an operator's approved training curriculum and satisfied Part 135 auditing requirements — confirming the outsourced training an operator relies on actually holds up to scrutiny.

Part 135 Certificate Expansion & FSDO Transfer

Carried an existing but completely unrefreshed Part 135 carrier through an FSDO transfer and a full operational expansion — adding aircraft, moving the operation from VFR-only to fully IFR, and standing up passenger-carrying operations from the ground up. Built and delivered the training to support it: initial and recurrent training for line staff, plus qualification of new training captains and check pilots to run the program going forward.

Part 91 Flight Department Buildout & Management

Managed a Part 91 small turbine flight department from the ground up — full development of procedures manuals and training programs, plus hiring and managing the pilots and support personnel to run it. Not just the training and documentation side: the whole department, built and run.
